RaceAuraBot

RaceAura helps athletes find endurance races. To keep our calendar complete we sometimes read public race calendars with an automated client that identifies itself as:

RaceAuraBot/0.1 (+https://raceaura.com/bot/)

What we collect

• Facts only: race name, date, location and distances.
• We do not copy descriptions, photos, logos or other creative content.
• Every race page on RaceAura links to the official race website, and where data came from your site we credit and link to it.
• A person reviews every race before it is published.

How we behave

• We follow robots.txt (including Crawl-delay) and re-check it regularly.
• We respect text-and-data-mining reservations (TDMRep: the tdm-reservation header or meta tag, and /.well-known/tdmrep.json).
• We only read sites whose terms of use we have reviewed, and calendar/aggregator sites only with permission.
• We make few requests: at most one every few seconds per site, typically once per night.
